What is dramatherapy?

Dramatherapy offers clients the opportunity to explore difficult emotions through various creative modalities such as role-play, therapeutic storytelling, art work, play, movement, creative expression, and mindfulness based exercises.

By tapping into the healing power of creativity, clients are able to explore challenges in a less direct approach, which invites an alternative perspective.

Each session is made up of creative exploration alongside talking, to facilitate self-reflection.

I also offer dramatherapy interventions for young people in schools as well as working with private adoption agencies to support looked after children.

I typically work face-to-face but also offer online sessions to allow some flexibility to clients who find it difficult to travel.
